Salt x Silver is a creative studio for the built environment.

We work with designers and design-led brands on the images their
work is remembered by — direction, photography and content for
spaces, objects, and the people who make them.

Most spaces are photographed in order to be recorded. We are more
interested in what a space is trying to say. How light crosses a
room over a morning. Which object earns its place on a shelf and
which one is only taking up room. What a material actually does
when you get close enough to see it properly.

By the time the camera comes out, most of the work is done. The
decisions are the work.

That way of seeing comes from a background in architecture and
interior design rather than in photography alone. We read a space
the way it was drawn — structure, proportion, intent — and then
decide how to show it.
